I would like to know how many times he said the word “global”? We can’t save the homeless, hungrey and sick in the U.S., but we are going to save the world, says Obama. He keeps saying “when” I am president, not “if” I am president. What say you?
kfc coupons
yes I’m surprised he went on Fox I thought the Democrats were boycotting them
Who is Obamanation? Are you using the title of that lie-filled smear book?
I say get a life!
Ready Aim Fire, those are my sentiments
McCain Palin 2008
He’s there when you need him
unlike Obama
I agree, and the “global” thing occurred to me as well.
He is not running for President of the world – he is running for President of the USA. He needs to put the needs of our citizens first, and it does not seem as though he sees that. He would rather campaign than do his job as a Senator.
He WILL be President and you know this MAAAAAAN!!!!!!
his speech is making me so sick i had to leave the room. we need to be discussing the american economy right now and nothing else. who cares that people overseas cant eat when people in america cant eat. how are we going to give out so much aid if we cant even help ourselves?
Obambi is acting rather cocky. This is going to be SOOOO GOOD!
FOX NEWS????? YUCK! Nobody watches that anymore! They are so outta touch!
Obama’s arrogance does not sit well with thinking Americans, I would change the channel if I actually saw him come on, and I don’t watch FOX
He’s a good talker but doesn’t do anything. Of course, it’s probably best he doesn’t do anything because he knows very little and would probably do the wrong thing.
He is giving a speech for the Clinton GLOBAL Initiative…pay attention.
No. I don’t care to watch Fox News. I like to get actual “fair and balanced” news.
I refuse to be manipulated by conservatives who destroy the credibility of legitimate news outlets by screaming liberal bias. They only want to force Americans rely on conservative bias.
we need someone confident as a president and vice….
not someone who says “ill get back to you on that” NO! we need answers now, not so you can go look stuff up that you should already know. PATHETIC! thats the word for the republican party this election, well the last one too. Let do it again? idiots
EXACTLY!! I just posted on this.
Mr. “Global” is TOTALLY out of touch with America.
This guy is either the DUMBEST candidate…. or simply out of touch with CURRENT US events!
I was watching that and replying to another question at the same time.
I can’t believe some of the American people would follow this fool!
EDIT: some are downing Fox News,,this was live on all media not just Fox.
All candidates say “when” I am president. Like it or not, we live in a global economy and community. Get with it.
I listen to him talk but all i hear him say is, tax the whites, help the terrorists, and lets paint the white house black.
I think he is scary, and he DOTH PRESUME TOO MUCH….what a jerk..yeah, I heard him…reading from his teleprompter again….what a waste of skin.
McCain just spoke at the Clinton GLOBAL Initiative this morning, after he had supposedly suspended his campaign, so seriously, come on now. Obama was speaking at the same thing.
Its a GLOBAL forum. Try to pay attention, okay?
Thanks Searcher. Obama was speaking at the Clinton GLOBAL Initiative…so was McCain. It seems the vacuous & hysterical radical right needs to learn the definition of context.
Sounds to me like he’s trying to convince us to buy groceries for our neighbors, while our own kids may have to go hungry
Aren’t we having some kind of economic crisis at the moment?…Maybe someone should tell Obama about our current economic situation
The subject is the Clinton GLOBAL Initiative. Did you catch that? GLOBAL. How is he suppose to talk about the Clinton GLOBAL Initiative. Without using the word GLOBAL?
Omaba ’08!
yes i said the same thing!
our economy is failing and hes talking about helping other countries we CANT do that right now!
that says to me he thinks hes gonna win cause he has a HUGE ego and doesnt care about what the Americans but.only what he wants
Obama is optimistic and that is how a winner thinks. Yes we are trying to save the world but we can’t even save the US. Wake up US, we must save us first before we can attempt to save rest of the world. We haven’t even solved the hungry and homeless here, we can’t even do more for the Katrina survivors let alone the IKE survivors. Look at the homeless including VETERANS. Look at the falling housing market. HELL…look at your paycheck. Look at the damn government. Look at “Wall Street” I’d much rather listen to Obamanation instead of Procrastination MCCAIN. I don’t know what the speech is about because I am not listening..but I am sure he has valid reasons to say whatever he is saying today or any day.
All the politicians today talk in that cult-like kind of global speak. Vincente Fox, Tony Blair, all of em.
That is really sad, how many times do we have to tell these politicians you need to help AMERICA screw all the other countries we need help, food, medical, housing, etc
Gosh what is it going to take to get through their skulls that they are running for the USA which means forget everyone else and only help the USA help others (maybe) after we are secure and every american has food, housing, money, medical, etc.
It’s a global forum idiot
There are several reasons why Senator Obama is enjoying a double-digit lead in the “honest and trustworthy” category (47 percent to 36 percent according the new ABC News/Washington Post poll). First, Senator Obama doesn’t, you know, lie to the American people every damn day. Second, Senator Obama didn’t vote with the dishonest, corrupt Bush administration 90 percent of the time.
But one of the main reasons why the nation appears to be lining up against Senator McCain’s insanely obvious lack of integrity could be because his very serious and mavericky campaign strategy can be described in four simple words:
Blurt Out Random Crap.
“Crap,” in this context, is defined as everything from lies to weasel-words to inexplicably weird nonsense. And it seems like Senator McCain does this a lot. So much so that we can only conclude that it’s intentional.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2008
My guess is that Fox clipped the speech to show the negatives. We all know how reliable they are.
Hi Toni: I am tired of Obama, heard this youtube.com website, and see if you want to hear and others too?
his name is Barrack Obama
and he has been taking questions and giving answers, and looking a lot more like a leader nowadays than the grasping, scrambling, dissembling, back-peddling, avoiding Saint Barbecue, I mean, John McCain, who has been trying to back out of the debates under the pretext that he is absolutely needed in Washington all of a sudden, after missing 230 out of 286 votes since Q4-2007.
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=300071&tab=votes
I’m with Obama, that a potential president should be able to do more than one thing at once, and 90% of Americans have agreed in a flash poll that Friday’s debate should not be cancelled – a real “abomination” would be someone in the 10% who disagree with this, according to the numbers.
McCain cancelled his scheduled appearance with David Letterman last night, under the pretext that Washington needs him, only to end up giving an interview to Katie Couric across the street in NYC, an obvious snub, and b.s.. Letterman puts it better and more humorously than I could, saying effectively, well if he can’t make it, why doesn’t he send out his ‘star quarterback’ in his stead, i.e. Sarah Palin, if he has made such a good choice in this regard, and she is ready to ‘lead from day one.’ The answer is obvious, McCain knows Palin is not up to the challenge, and will end up embarrassing the both of them.
A cut up of Letterman cutting up John McCain throughout his show last night:
“What are you going to do if you’re elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We’ve got a guy like that now!”
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/09/24/letterman-brutalizes-john-mccain-for-cancellations/
p.s every presidential candidate since the dawn of time has said ‘when I am president’ during a campaign – McCain said it himself in the Republican Convention. So many farts in the wind.
